Construction Works Begin for the Altitude Oriente Project in Lisbon

MIMCO announces the start of construction works at Altitude Oriente, a mixed residential programme developed in the Oriente district of Lisbon, in close proximity to Lisboa Oriente Train Station. This project, structured as a club deal, involves the delivery of 168 modern apartments across two buildings, for a total floor area of 17,455 m².


A Premium Residential Programme in One of Lisbon’s Most Dynamic Neighbourhoods


With construction now officially underway as of early March, the Altitude Oriente project reaches a key milestone in its development. Located in the Parque das Nações district — one of the most sought-after residential areas in the Portuguese capital — this programme addresses sustained demand for quality housing in a rapidly growing area.


The operation was initiated in December 2025 with the finalisation of the acquisition of a stake in the company holding the land — two plots totalling 10,080 m² in immediate proximity to Lisboa Oriente Train Station.


A Redesigned Programme Built to Meet Market Expectations


Prior to entering the construction phase, MIMCO carried out — in collaboration with its technical partners — a comprehensive redesign of the programme to optimise its commercial quality and alignment with local demand. This process resulted in an increase in the number of units from 112 to 168, with typologies, sizes and layouts adapted to the expectations of premium buyers in this market segment.


The programme comprises two residential buildings — Horizon and Unique — incorporating apartments, retail spaces, services and underground parking. Key distinguishing features include a rooftop pool and high-quality shared spaces. The average value achieved during the pre-sales phase stands at €7,000/m², reflecting the premium positioning of the programme.


Construction is managed by Teixeira Duarte, a leading firm in the Portuguese construction sector, acting as Project Manager. Works are scheduled for completion in the first half of 2028.

A Structured Operation Backed by Strong Commercial Momentum


Even before the start of construction, the pre-sales phase generated strong market interest, with significant reservations recorded on the first building (Horizon).


To date, approximately 40% of the units in the programme have been reserved. This momentum reflects the relevance of the positioning adopted and the strong alignment of the programme with local demand for premium residential properties.
