MIMCO, a pan-European alternative asset management group and real estate operator, along with JHMH Group, specialists in managing hotels and tourist residences under the ‘Quartier Libre Collection’ brand, announce the completion of their new upscale hotel residence located at 82 Boulevard Sébastopol, in the heart of Paris. This ambitious project transformed a Haussmannian office and retail building, acquired by MIMCO as part of one of its club-deals alongside JHMH Group, into a prestigious hotel residence featuring 36 apartments.

A conversion project transforming a mixed-use Haussmannian building of offices and retail into a hotel residence

The building enjoys a prime location, close to major tourist sites and urban amenities in the heart of the capital, making it ideal for both leisure tourism and large events as well as business travel. With this residence, MIMCO and JHMH aim to perfectly meet the evolving expectations of consumers regarding tourist accommodations, offering a blend between traditional hotels and short-term rentals.

This expertise in transforming historic buildings made it possible to find technical solutions to successfully carry out the renovation, preserving the Haussmannian style of this Parisian building while integrating standards comparable to modern assets in Paris’ Central Business District (CBD) and maintaining ground-floor retail spaces.

A project aligned with MIMCO’s vision for the hospitality market

This project aligns with MIMCO’s long-term vision for the evolution of the tourism market, offering service and amenities on par with high-end hotels. The hotel residence model, which combines residential and hospitality elements, is gaining significant traction in the market, especially since the health crisis. Europe, in particular, is lagging behind this emerging trend,” emphasizes Christophe Nadal.

"We aim to expand this offering, which combines comfort and convenience, to meet the new expectations of users, whether for tourism or business travel."
Christophe Nadal, Co-founder & CEO of MIMCO Group.

High-quality amenities

With a total area of 2,168 m², the residence will offer 36 modern and elegant apartments designed to provide optimal comfort for visitors, with retail spaces on the ground floor. Managed by Quartier Libre Collection, the apartments will be available for short- and medium-term rentals, catering to the needs of both tourists and business travelers.
