New acquisition by MIMCO Capital of a Retail Park in Magdeburg, Germany

On behalf of its Everest One fund and as part of its growth in Germany, MIMCO Capital announces the acquisition of a Retail Park located in Magdeburg, the capital of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

With two renowned universities that welcome nearly 20,000 students and directly served by several highways, Magdeburg is considered a strategic crossroads as well as an industrial and commercial center. 

"The shopping center is located in the south of the city and is ideally situated, as it is connected to other important cities such as Halle, Leipzig and Dresden thanks to its infrastructure. Its immediate surroundings are attractive, with renowned retailers such as Globus Baumarkt, Depot and Media Markt", comments Bernd von Manteuffel, co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital. 

This real estate asset has two sales levels on a total surface area of 9,140 sqm and an outdoor parking lot with approximately 200 spaces.

"The complex has an occupancy rate of more than 82%, rented from 8 tenants for a WALT of 7.5 years. It has the potential to be developed on a vacant space that will be leased to other well-known companies in the near future", adds Christophe Nadal, co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital.
