The MIMCO Capital group is actively pursuing its investments by recently acquiring a property located on the Route d'Arlon in the municipality of Strassen, to the west of the Luxembourg capital. The project will develop a group of residential buildings.
Strassen is one of the strategic towns on the outskirts of Luxembourg City, with more than 10,000 inhabitants and 112 different nationalities. Its geographical location allows for quick access to the various motorways leading to Belgium, France, Germany and the south of Luxembourg.
"The community of Strassen is particularly attractive and is appreciated for its environment. Located close to the capital, it has benefited in recent years from significant growth in terms of housing and infrastructure developments, including public swimming pools, shopping centers and hospitals. The city will also soon benefit from a Tramway link that will allow to reach the city center of Luxembourg in less than 10 minutes and the project we are developing will have direct access to the Tramway directly at its feet", explains Christophe Nadal, co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital.
"The surface area of the land is 50.80 ares, with a development area of approximately 10,770 m2, mainly intended for apartments but also some shops. The acquired plot is part of a project for a new district located in the municipality of Strassen," explains Frédéric Reichling.
"It attracts many buyers for its amenities, accessibility, and quality of life. With the future arrival of the tramway and its dynamics, the demand for housing remains very strong," continues Laurent Olmedo.
Bernd von Manteuffel, also co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital, adds: "The total investment of the operation is close to 45 million euros and the redevelopment envisaged with this project confirms MIMCO Capital's ability to position itself on large-scale operations with high added value.”
