MIMCO Capital announces the acquisition of a real estate complex located in Rue de l'Aciérie in Luxembourg-Hollerich, at the gateway to the railway station district. The project includes the restructuring of several buildings into a new generation 100% residential operation.

The operation will develop 3,800 sqm net divided into 74 apartments. The complex will also have 87 indoor parking spaces for an estimated turnover of 54 million euros.

"The location of this real estate complex less than 1 km from the central train station and less than 10 minutes by bicycle from the city's historic center will allow its future residents to enjoy a new, completely redesigned and lively neighborhood. The equally dynamic Cloche d'Or district is less than 2 km from the future project," says Bernd von Manteuffel, co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital.

Christophe Nadal, co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital, adds: "The location of this project is unusual in that it is adjacent to PAP Würth – Van Landewyck, the future 18-hectare mixed real estate development project between the two flagship districts of Luxembourg-Gare and Cloche d'Or. The area will benefit from a major transformation offering offices, shops and housing, thus generating more than 5,500 additional jobs. In addition, the CNS headquarters, currently across the street from our project, will be demolished to make way for numerous residential buildings."

Luxembourg remains the most sought-after canton in the country with an annual increase in real estate prices since 2015 of 8.9 % (Source : statec.lu). As for the Station sector, it is a district that remains very dynamic and attractive due to its privileged geographical location offering immediate access to shops and transport.

This operation is developed in partnership with a group of leading investors and the developer SCHERRER & CHASSAING Private Office Luxembourg.

We would like to thank our team and our partners for this acquisition.
