MIMCO has acquired a minority stake in the five-star Maison Barrière Vendôme hotel, through the structuring of a preferred equity investment on behalf of a private family. MIMCO will also be responsible for asset management.

Following several landmark transactions on the Champs-Élysées and in Paris’s Central Business District, MIMCO announces the acquisition of an equity interest in a property located at 8 rue de Castiglione, Paris 1st arrondissement, in the heart of the Vendôme-Tuileries district. The mixed-use building (retail/hospitality) notably houses the five-star Maison Barrière Vendôme hotel, inaugurated in January 2025.

As part of this transaction, MIMCO has acquired a minority stake in the five-star Maison Barrière Vendôme hotel, MIMCO is acting as both investor and asset manager.

An investment in a mixed-use retail/hospitality asset at the heart of the “Golden Triangle” of luxury

Located in one of Paris’s most iconic settings, between Place Vendôme, Rue de la Paix, and the Tuileries, the property benefits from an immediate environment comprising leading international jewelry and watchmaking houses, as well as world-renowned palace hotels.

This transaction comes at a strategic stage in the asset’s lifecycle, alongside the ramp-up of hotel operations, including the upcoming development of a wellness and spa area, as well as the commercialization of the retail space in a market where demand for premium units remains particularly strong and highly selective.

A landmark transaction in line with MIMCO’s prime Paris strategy

With 8 rue de Castiglione, MIMCO continues to build a portfolio of prime transactions in Paris, including:

50 avenue des Champs-Élysées, an ultra-prime retail unit ;

91 avenue des Champs-Élysées, an ultra-prime retail building ;

48 rue Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, an office building in the Central Business District ;

15 rue Fénelon, an office asset undergoing repositioning into hospitality, located in a rapidly revaluing area.

These investments demonstrate the Group’s ability to source and structure transactions in ultra-prime locations within constrained markets, where access to high-quality assets remains extremely selective.
