MIMCO Capital acquires an office building to be restructured in Luxembourg Kirchberg
MIMCO Capital continues its growth in Luxembourg and completes a new acquisition on behalf of its "BUILDIM" fund with the co-development of a major office restructuring operation located in the European and business district of Luxembourg Kirchberg.
Located to the east of Luxembourg City, the Kirchberg area continues to develop and urbanize in a remarkable way with a concentration of new infrastructures but also the creation of new residential and office accommodation, mobility and accessibility being the major assets of this location.
"This acquisition in a reference zone consolidates the strategy of our BUILDIM fund on its positioning in high-end residential operations, which are particularly dynamic in Luxembourg and which are still in very strong demand", comments Christophe Nadal, co-founder and CEO of MIMCO Capital.
The transaction will transform existing offices and will eventually include more than twenty exclusively high-end apartments totaling almost 1,700 sqm, representing a potential value of more than 15 million euros. The restructuring of this building will benefit from the latest generation energy performance standards in order to provide its users with an environment in line with the latest developments in this field. This project is being developed in partnership with the CreaHaus group for delivery in 2022.
